Industrial Waste Management
Gistex carefully manages its industrial waste and complies with all government regulations. This commitment is demonstrated by collaborating with a waste management company that holds official government permits.
Go Green Program
Cultivation around the factory area is also an effort to support the "Go Green" program. This initiative began when Gistex was founded and has been implemented regularly and continuously to date. Gistex also plans to increase cultivation outside the factory area. Gistex has conducted surveys and approached various third parties.

Our Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) utilizes biological treatment processes and technologies to ensure that the wastewater discharged is safe for the surrounding environment.
Supporting Citarum Harum Program
To support the "Citarum Harum" program, all of our WWTP units are equipped with chemical systems to comply with government regulations, ensuring our contribution to river revitalization efforts.
Equalization
Our waste collection tanks regulate incoming discharge fluctuations, ensuring consistent flow and composition for optimal treatment efficiency. This critical first stage stabilizes wastewater parameters before processing.
Neutralization
Advanced chemical treatment systems precisely adjust pH levels to optimal ranges. This neutralization process prepares wastewater for biological treatment, protecting downstream processes and the environment.
Biological Treatment
State-of-the-art biological treatment technology removes organic pollutants and ensures all discharged water meets or exceeds Indonesian regulatory limits, protecting local water resources and ecosystems.

Established on July 27, 2015, Bimasena Elementary School is a cornerstone of PT Gistex's Corporate Social Responsibility commitment.

Gistex is also concerned with people around in Lagadar village, sub-district Marga Asih, district Soreang, by providing wellbore donations. 18 drill points were already built by Gistex. Gistex monitors the wells to ensure they work well. That means there will be a good relationship between Gistex and the people there.
